July 24 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Step into a summer evening where history, beauty, and craftsmanship come together in the most delightful way.
Join us at the flower farm for Patchwork & Petals, a unique gathering that pairs the timeless art of quilting with the simple joy of being surrounded by blooms. Our guest presenter, Shae Vaughn, owner of Stitchery Niche Quilting, will lead a fascinating lecture, “Discovering the Story: Experiencing History Through Antique Quilts,” offering a rich overview of quilting’s progression and the meaningful role these textiles have played across generations. Through pattern, fabric, and color, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for how quilts reflect the people and historical moments that shaped them.
After the lecture, linger and enjoy a relaxed, summery atmosphere with light refreshments and good company. Together, we will wander into the flower field, where you’ll have the opportunity to u-pick your own bouquet, gathering armfuls of fresh, seasonal blooms to take home.
Whether you love history, textiles, flowers, or simply a peaceful evening on the farm, this event is designed to inspire and delight.
